Workshops for Parks Master Plan

News Release: From: Evansville Department of Parks & Recreation Workshops for Parks Master Plan The Department of Parks & Recreation invites the public to help to improve our parks and recreational programs by attending one of two workshops on our Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. The Master Plan will guide the Parks Department in preparing new opportunities for the future that will have public support. The Plan is also a requirement to be eligible for State and Federal grants. The two workshops will be held on April 16th at 3:00 p.m. and again at 6:00 p.m. at Roberts Stadium. Please enter by the main office at Gate One. Our consultant, Claire Bennett Associates, Inc. (CBA), will share observations on parks and recreation in Evansville and listen to your comments. You will have an opportunity to voice your opinion on the current status and future of Parks & Recreation programs. If you are unable to attend, you may contact Glenn Boberg, Parks Planner, for a questionnaire at gboberg@evansvillegov.org or by calling him at 435-6141.
