Just after midnight, a semi filled with live turkeys flipped over on Highway 164.
Deputies say the driver was traveling too fast around a curve, causing the semi to flip, and the turkeys to spill into a field.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and was cited for speeding to avoid a collision.
As for the turkeys, crews spent the morning gathering them all.
Highway 164 reopened to traffic about 7a.m.
