Southern Illinois Driver Dies in Single-Vehicle Accident

A one car accident in Saline County, Illinois leaves one person dead. Just before noon, deputies say a jeep was traveling on U.S. 45 north of Eldorado city limits, when it left the road causing it to overturn and throw the driver out. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital and later pronounced dead. The identity of the driver has not yet been released, and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
