As the snow is expected to hit the ground Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning, officials want the snow plows to hit the ground running as well. Indiana Department of Transportation officials say they are already pre-treating bridges and roadways. They are focusing on more than 30,000 miles of interstates and highways across the state. INDOT also encourages everyone to pay attention to forecasts as the storm approaches the Tri-State area.
