Meteorologist David Heckard has the latest on the winter storm taking aim at our area in his Weather Authority Forecast.

***BLIZZARD WARNING FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE TRI-STATE***

***WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR PERRY, HANCOCK AND OHIO COUNTIES***

EVENING: Cloudy Skies. Rain/Snow Developing. Windy. Temperatures in the mid 30s.

OVERNIGHT: Cloudy Skies. Rain to Snow (Snow Accumulations Likely). Very Windy. Low 30.

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy Skies. Snow Diminishing (Total Snow Accumulations 1"-2" far SE, 2"-4"SE, 4"-6" Jasper/Owensboro/Madisonville Area. 6"-10"+ EVV Metro and points North & West). High 31.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly Cloudy. Cold. Low 21.

THURSDAY: Partly Sunny. Cool. High 30.
