Sam Strong Fundraiser a Huge Success

His goal was to raise about $30,000, but last night's Sam Strong: Search for the Cure fundraiser rasied nearly $200,000. All of that money will go toward cancer research. The benefit was the brain child of Sam Featherstone, who has been fighting cancer for three years. The Newburgh teen has been working to raise money for St. Jude's Research Hospital. And thanks to the community's support, nearly 800 people showed up last night to help his cause. Congratulations to Sam for making such a huge contribution, and best of luck moving forward.
