McCutchanville Family Needing Aid After Weekend House Fire

A fire early Sunday morning in McCutchanville leaves a family without a home and two first responders injured. Lieutenant Steve Gibson of McCutchanville Fire Department tells us both first responders were treated and later released from the hospital. Gibson says the family has no home owners insurance and is now relying on assistance from the Evansville Red Cross, who are providing temporary housing along with food and clothes. The cause of the fire is still undetermined, but officials do not suspect foul play. If you would like to help the family, you can call the Evansville Red Cross at (812) 471-7200.
