Indiana's departing U.S. Senator's last act in Congress is what he called an act of compromise. Richard Lugar voted in favor of passing the Fiscal Cliff Bill, and he leaves the Senate today after casting more than 13,000 votes over nearly four decades in Washington. Lugar's final vote, he says, caps decades of work across party lines. Lugar's service places him 10th on ths list of total votes cast in a Senate career. Lugar escorted Democrat Joe Donnelly into the Chamber today.
