Mattingly Says Daviess County is in Great Shape Going into 2013

Daviess County Judge Executive Al Mattingly said in his address Daviess County is doing well. He says the state of the county is good, and the money's in the bank. He says other counties can't say that.
In the new year, Mattingly hopes to focus on health issues in Daviess County as well as continuing cooperating with all officials. He says cooperating should be the norm.
"We take a business approach," said Mattingly, "and we look at every issue from a standpoint of a return on taxpayer dollars. When you take that business approach, realizing that county government is not a business but that you can certainly use business principles in the operation."
Mattingly says he believes the future is bigger and brighter for Daviess County.
