Tomorrow the city of Evansville will start automating trash and recycling service for all residents.
Trash and recycling will now be collected in large plastic bins provided by the city, one for trash and another for recycling.
Allied waste services will begin delivering the new bins on Monday.
Ed Ziemer of Evansville Water and Sewer Department says it's going to take some time to get all the bins delivered, so some people won't see the effects of the program for a month or so.
Officials say they expect the program to be fully implemented later this year. The schedule for trash and recycling will not change with recycling still being picked up every other week.
