Hundreds Visit Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve To See Rare Bird

There's a rare find in the River City, and it's catching a lot of attention. Bird watchers from Ohio and all over the region have made their way to Evansville, to see a rare bird called Varied Thrush. It's home is Oregon and Washington state. Within the last two weeks, at least 300 people have visited Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve to catch a glimpse of the bird. Wildlife experts say two other Varied Thrush birds have been spotted in Indiana this year, near Indianapolis, and Lafayette.
