Traffic Stop Turns Into Drug Bust in Muhlenberg County

What started as a traffic stop in Muhlenberg County leads authorities to a drug arrest.
Kentucky State Police say Jessi Abshire is charged with trafficking meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and several other charges.
It happened Friday afternoon on North Main Street in Greenville. Troopers say, during a traffic stop, they found 14 grams of suspected meth and marijuana, items used to ingest and distribute controlled substances, and prescription medication inside Abshire's car.
She was taken to the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
