One Dead One Injured in Hopkins County Shooting

UPDATE: Officials say one person has died in connection with what apears to be suicide/attempted murder.
The Hopkins County, Kentucky, Sheriff's Department says around 8:30 this morning deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1800 block of Forest Acres Loop in the Grapevine community.
When they got there they say they found David Marks at a neighbor's home. Marks had multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies say hsi wife shot him. His wife, Roberta, had gone back into the house. A short time later deputies heard a gunshot inside the Marks's home. When they went in they found Roberta Marks with what appeared to be a self inflicted gunshot wound.
Both victims were taken to the hospital where Roberta Marks died. David Marks is listed in stable condition.

Investigators in Hopkins County are trying to figure out why a woman shot her boyfriend, then herself.
The shooting happened Friday morning in the Grapevine area of Hopkins County, south of Madisonville.
According to the Sheriff's Department, both are currently being treated at a local hospital, however, their names and conditions have not been released.
