Want to Message Mark Zuckerberg? It'll Put a Dent in your Wallet

Mark Zuckerberg wants to hear from you through Facebook, but it'll cost you.

For $100, you can send the social networking chief a private message.  It's all part of a beta test for a new revenue stream.

Last month, Facebook said it would begin testing paid messages, but didn't say how much they would cost.

Right now, if you message people outside of your network, it goes to a mailbox most users don't know exists.  Facebook says it is using the extreme price point as another type of spam filter.

The company is betting that messaging people you don't know would be a privilege worth paying for.
