Sports Authority Drew Amman sits down with Basketball Hall of Famer Meadowlark Lemon. Lemon played in more than 16,000 games with the Harlem Globetrotters and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in 2003.
Lemon also became an ordained minister in 1986 and received a Doctor of Divinity degree from Vision International University in Ramona, California in 1988. He currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, where his Meadowlark Lemon Ministries, Inc. and Meadowlark Lemon's Harlem All Stars maintain an office.
Lemon will be among the big names at the Hot Stove League Night of Memories Saturday at the Vanderburgh County 4H Center. Another big name this year is Chicago Cubs Hall of Famer Andre Dawson, who was an eight time All-Star with the Cubs and the Expos, and the 1987 MLB MVP. Kids can get autographs from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, but you'll have to be 21 years old to stay for the rest of the night. The silent auction begins at 5:30pm.
