Deputies: Thief Stealing Tips Out of Daviess County Paper Boxes

They were just trying to be nice, showing appreciation for those that deliver the paper. However, their generosity backfired.
According to the Daviess County, KY Sheriff's Office, several people have reported having money stolen out of their paper boxes. Money that was intended as a tip for the delivery person.
Deputies are encouraging against the practice in the future to prevent further thefts. They say anyone wanting to tip newspaper personnel should make arrangements with that person to ensure they receive any money intended for them.
