With Governor Mike Pence now in office, former Governor Mitch Daniels heads to West Lafayette as he becomes the next president of Purdue University. Daniels says he's eager to get working on the packed agenda he'll face in the coming months at Purdue. In his first six months on the job, Daniels will oversee legislative hearings on the school's next budget, work to set new tuition levels, and become acquainted with the 76,000 students on campus. The two-term governor has already held a few dozen meetings with students, staff, and other employees getting ready for the new job.
