With heavy hearts tonight, we say goodbye to a Tri-State man who gave back so much to the community. Dennis Rowe passed away from prostate cancer Sunday afternoon. He was on the Santa Clothes Club board for 30 years and served as president the past two years. He also served on the board for Patchwork Central, Mesker Park Zoo, and was President of the Evansville Artist's Guild.

Funeral arraignments for Dennis Rowe have been made. Visitation will be at Boone Funeral Home East on Friday, January 18, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Services at Aldersgate United Methodist Church are Saturday, January 19, at 10 a.m.

Eyewitness News has been a big partner with Santa Clothes Club. Dennis was honored at last month's telethon at Washington Square Mall with a special video. Here's an excerpt of that tribute.
