Juvenile Court looks to be a top priority of Indiana's new chief justice. Justice Brent Dickson wants to improve the system, and cut down on the use of juvenile detention centers as punishment for young offenders. In his State of the Judiciary address today, Dickson also asks for lawmakers to pass an overhaul to the state's criminal code, and change sentence guidelines to reduce prison overcrowding.
