A western Kentucky driver made a poor decision and ended up needing a rescue. The Crittenden County Sheriff's Department says the driver drove around "Road Closed" signs near the Crittenden-Webster county line around 10:00 Monday night and soon found herself trapped in flood waters. She called for help and a Crittenden County deputy came to her rescue. The deputy says he let the woman know she used bad judgment, but he didn't write a ticket. He says he thought a flooded car was punishment enough.
