A man involved in another high profile escape in the tri-state recently had a rather uneventful first trip back to court.
Josh Ridings appeared in federal court in West Virginia.
No plea was made and very little official action took place.
The judge did appoint a public defender for Ridings and ordered him back in court next week.
Ridings is one of two men accused of breaking out of the Warrick County jail in late February.
It took less than 48 hours for police to catch up with him.
He faces charges in West Virginia for alleged abducting and raping an 11 year old girl.
Ridings was also wanted for other sexual offenses in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
