Wanted Henderson Man Arrested after Car Chase

Henderson Police got their man after a dangerous car chase. 28 year old Ronald Amos was wanted on a drug-related warrant. When police approached him on South Green Street Monday, he apparently jumped into a blue Buick and fled. During the chase, Amos almost crashed into an ice cream truck near several small children and ran a stop sign. Soon after, he was arrested on two warrants and 16 preliminary charges, including possession of several drugs, DUI, wanton endangerment and fleeing police. Officials say additional charges are pending and Amos could face anywhere from 10 to 20 years behind bars.
