Iraqi Nationals Sentenced in Kentucky for Terrorist Conspiracy

Two Iraqi nationals living in Bowling Green, Kentucky were sentenced today for conspiring with Al-Qaeda. Waad Alwan was sentenced to 40 years in prison with lifetime supervised release. Mohanad Hammadi received life in prison. Both pleaded guilty to charges of trying to send weapons, explosives, and cash to terrorists in Iraq.
