"We understand why you picked them up. However, this is not a cat, it's not a dog. It's a wild animal and wild animals do wild animal things and they belong in the wild," IN Conservation Officer, Mike Kellner said.
DNR says if you rescue a wild animal, contact them immediately, so they can get the animal to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
