Some Will Have to Wait Longer For Tax Refunds

Those taking advantage of the American Opportunity Tax Credit or the Lifetime Learning Credit, won't be able to file until mid-February. That's about 14-million taxpayers who will have to wait longer for a refund.
Other education benefits like tuition and fees, and student loan interest deductions, can still be claimed starting tomorrow, which is when tax season opens for most people.
