St. Mary's Opens First Education Unit in Indiana

St. Mary's Medical Center is partnering with the University of Southern Indiana to become the first hospital in the entire state to have a "dedicated education unit" for nursing students. The program is for junior students. Rather than have 10 students for each instructor, students will have a two-to-one relationship with the instructor. Organizers say this kind of program will help recruit and keep more nurses.
