Arrest Made in Overnight Shooting

Evansville Police have arrested two people following an early morning shooting.

Officers say it happened around 4:30 Thursday morning in the 300 block of Cass Avenue.  They say the victim was shot in the leg in the front yard at 323 Cass.  He was taken to Saint Mary's Medical Center. 

Police tell Eyewitness News they have an adult and a juvenile in custody.  The juvenile, who police say is not a suspect in the shooting, was arrested after trying to leave the scene with two guns and a large amount of drugs.  According to police, the juvenile is being held at the Youth Care Center.  The adult arrested has not yet been charged with a crime.
