Evansville Woman Finds Dead Puppies in Bag

Stephanie McClung says she was driving on Laubscher road near Kratzville
when she noticed a strange bag in the middle of the street.
McClung later went back to look at the bags and was shocked to find four dead puppies. One in a plastic bag and three scattered throughout the roadway.
McClung says she was unable to get ahold of anyone at Evansville Animal Care and Control -- so she called the Vanderburgh Humane Society instead.
The incident is now being investigated by the Evansville Animal Care and Control.
The organization urges residents to call 911 if you ever encounter a similar situation.
