Evansville Man Charged in Henderson Hit and Run

An Evansville man is facing a hit and run charge in Henderson.

Police say 41-year old Danny Lee Ward hit at least one person on Barrett Boulevard Monday. Officers say Ward tried to run away, abandoning his car on Blamoral Drive, near Huntspoint Way. He was eventually arrested in a nearby field.

At least one person was injured in the accident. Ward has since been released on bond.
