Another Animal Cruelty Case in Union County?

A spokesperson with Cheyenne's Hope Farm Sanctuary says Uniontown residents are concerned about a horse they say is starving. The horse was found just off of Hilltop Road outside Uniontown. This follows last week's discovery of two horses found dead in the Highland Creek area. Sanctuary officials say this possible case of starvation should get more attention from county government.
"We have a lot of counties that do uphold everything they can, but then they don't have their officials to back them up, or give them the training, or the money they need, especially on horse cases," says Stacey-McCord Crooks with Cheyenne's Hope Farm Sanctuary.
The Union County Sheriff's Department is still investigating the deaths of the other two horses, but they were unavailable to answer questions to Eyewitness News Monday.
