Loud rap music led to several charges against an Evansville man. Luke Smith, III faces several charges, including battery with bodily waste and disorderly conduct. Police say they were called to a home on Linwood on Tuesday afternoon to watch for drug activity. While they were there, people inside the home, including Smith, began rapping loudly and using profanity. Officers say when they walked up to the house, Smith argued with them and when officers tried to arrest Smith, he spit on them. Smith remains in the Vanderburgh County jail.
