A man that Warrick County Deputies say is responsible for putting several schools on lockdown Wednesday remains on the loose.

Authorities say the man tried to steal a woman's truck just one block from Lynnville Elementary School.  The victim told deputies it happened around 9:00 Wednesday morning.

Police say the suspect ended up pinning the truck's owner against the garage in the process.  She was taken to a local hospital, but there has been no word on her condition.

Lynville Elementary, Elberfeld Elementary and Tecumseh Junior/Senior High School were all put on lockdown following the incident.

Deputies say the suspect is described as a white male, with long brown hair and a beard.  He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a camouflage jacket.

If you have any information, you are asked to call the Warrick County Sheriff's Office.
