An easy victory for supporters of raising the school dropout age Kentucky. The House voted 87-10 in favor of the idea. The proposal would raise the dropout age in the commonwealth from 16 to 18. This victory isn't the end though. A similar idea passed the Kentucky House last year, then was voted down in the Senate. Governor Steve Beshear has pushed the bill, and the first lady has championed it around the state for years.
