A disasterous picture of what life was really like for the thousands of people on board the Carnival Triumph continues to be painted. As we continue to hear more stories from those aboard the cruise, it had us wondering if many right here in the Tri-State who were about to hit the high seas are now canceling vacation plans And the responds was very suprising.

When calling around to different travel agencies in the area, most places say they have not received any calls from travelers backing out of cruise plans. Travel Smart in Evansville says they've had no cancellations and are even booking cruises this week. Just today, owner Tina Brunck says people are booking in hopes the cruise line will better their services to make up for this recent event.

"Actually this week because of the story," said Brunck, "we've actually had some people calling to book Carnival. So, we've actually booked probably three to four cruises this week on Carnival. We actually got an e-mail this morning from a client that said she preferred to book on Carnival because she felt after this fiasco, the service would be better."

Brunck says Travel Smart is always glad to book vacations, but they highly prefer other lines over Carnival as the company's motto is "Always Choose to Travel Smart."
