A Warrick County woman could soon face charges after deputies say she falsely reported an attempted robbery.

Last week, deputies say 31-year-old Jaimee Barrett of Lynnville told them a man demanded money and tried to steal her truck, but ended up using it to pin her against her garage.

Authorities say they did everything they could, but couldn't find anything on a suspect.  The following day, officials say Barrett told investigators no one tried to rob her.

Barrett tried to explain what happened to Eyewitness News last night.  Click on the video player above to see what she had to say.

Warrick County Sheriff Brett Kruse says this incident tied up a lot of resources and put three Warrick county schools on lockdown.
