Two Suspects Arrested for Assault in Daviess County, KY

Two Owensboro men are facing assault charges following a party in Whitesville Tuesday morning.
Sheriff's deputies went to a home in the 8000 block of Ward Rd. just before 3 a.m. for a call about someone threatening people with a shotgun and rifle.
Authorities say the victim told them he had been punched, kicked and stomped on by two men later identified as 21-year-old Chandler Curry and 23-year-old James Hinton.
The alleged beating happened during a party where several people were reportedly drinking beer and smoking marijuana.
The homeowner, 20-year-old Allen Burnette, was also arrested for possession of marijuana while being armed.
Deputies say they found a shotgun and a rifle sitting with the marijuana.
A juvenile was also cited and released to his mother for possession of alcohol by a minor.
The assault victim was taken to OMHS for his injuries.
Curry and Hinton now face assault charges.
