Country music star, Michael Peterson in Evansville next week as part of U.S. Army National Tour to support youth and build stronger communities Grammy and CMA-nominated country-music star Michael Peterson will bring his U.S. Army-sponsored national “My Real Life – Strong for America Tour” to Evansville next week with a week-long celebration of American strength and values. Peterson, whose chart-topping hits include “From Here to Eternity,” “Drink Swear Steal & Lie,” and “Too Good To Be True,” rejects the “in and out of town” approach of other touring artists who only seek to promote themselves or their albums. Instead, Peterson will invest a week of his time in the Evansville community. Highlights include: High school assembly programs designed to engage and inspire young people to take action for their future. “Communa-palooza” – a free event that will celebrate the spirit of volunteerism that is present in Michael’s music. The event will feature the “Army Strong Zone,” an experience that allows participants to explore “Strength of Body, Strength of Technology and a Strong Future,” with fully-interactive fitness, robotic, and educational elements.
