Ambulance Involved in Crash

An ambulance on a run to an emergency slammed into a car driven by a woman who is 6 months pregnant.
It happened at the intersection of Washington and Weinbach in Evansville late Friday morning.
According to a witness, both vehicles were traveling west on Washington when the woman apparently didnt see the ambulance and turned left in front of it.
The woman didnt appear to be seriously hurt, but she was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
No one else was injured and another ambulance finished the original run.
