Owensboro could soon have a new indoor tennis facility. The
Owensboro-Daviess County Tennis Association receives a $100,000 grant
from the Daviess County Fiscal Court Wednesday. That puts it over its
$500,000 goal to build the new facility. The grant will be paid over a
two year period. Tennis association officials say the indoor facility
will be large enough for local play as well as tournaments. The first
$400,000 came from donations.
