The USI Screamin' Eagles entered Sunday's rubber match against Lake Erie College averaging 15.5 runs per game so far in the young season. They didn't disappoint.  Brent Weinzapfel and BJ Willis led the way for USI with five RBI apiece.  Matt Bowles pitched a solid 5.0 innings, only giving up four earned runs and striking out six.  The Eagles have scored 47 runs in three games.  USI plays the University of Missouri-Saint Louis on Friday.

The Aces, however, are struggling to find hits on their extended road trip to Arkansas.  The #1 Razorbacks dismantled Evansville on Sunday, winning 10-2.  The loss brings the Aces to 1-5 on the year so far.  Evansville has only managed 22 runs in six games.  The pitching staff has an overall 6.42 ERA.
