One Killed in Weekend Accident

A Lexington man is dead following an accident in Hopkins County.
The Sheriff's Office there says the accident happened early early Saturday morning on I-69 near the 99 mile marker. That's between Dawson Springs and the Pennyrile Parkway.
Deputies say the driver drove off the roadway and struck a guard rail head-on. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
We're told the victim's name will be released once his family has been notified.
