Police say a man walked into the 5/3 bank on Weinbach Avenue Monday morning, demanded money, then left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robbery put the University of Evansville on lockdown and Harper Elementary School into secure mode.  U.E.'s lockdown has since been lifted.

Police say a suspect walked into the bank, took money from a teller, then ran from the scene.  There's no word if the suspect had a weapon, but he's described as a white male, around 5 foot 11, 185 pounds.  He was wearing a black ski mask with latex gloves, grey sweat pants and hoodie.  he was also seen with a black backpack, walking east from the bank.

If you have any information on this robbery, please call Evansville Police.
