It could be Wednesday before the boil advisory issued for the town of Patoka is lifted. That means residents have been asked to conserve water for nearly a week now. On Tuesday, officials there started work to replace the water filtration system. They say by Thursday the town's water passed the tests necessary to lift the boil advisory. Another round of testing over the weekend did not go so well. Officials say they don't want to rush the process and ask all residents to be patient, while they make sure the water is safe for everyone to use.
