Boonville Escapes With One-Point Win in First Round

    It wasn't pretty for the Boonville Pioneers, but they played well enough in their sectional opener to defeat Gibson Southern 52-51.
    Boonville will play the Mt. Vernon Wildcats in the second round on Friday.
