It could be another six months before the Executive Inn in Vincennes is finally razed. The owner has now filed an appeal with the State Court of Appeals to stop the property from getting demolished. City officials have taken bids to tear the building down, but this latest legal snag will put the brakes on that. The building has been condemned and is considered to be an eyesore by city leaders. The owners have been fighting the demolition for years.
