Tuesday was the deadline to get a bill out of its House of origin. Some of the bills that will not become law this year include an attempt to prohibit schools from starting the academic year before labor day, an effort to allow take-out liquor sales on Sunday, a proposal to let grandparents and great grandparents sue for visitation rights.
Also failed, was an effort to repeal the right to work law.
