According to Evansville Police, they pulled David Smith over on Thursday because he had a busted tail light. However, when the officer approached the car, he says he could smell the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Officers say a search of the vehicle revealed that smith was in possession of more than 450 grams of marijuana. They also say Smith admitted that he was going to sell it.
Smith is charged with dealing marijuana, a class-D felony.
