Indiana will not ask a federal appeals court to reconsider a ruling that overturned a state law banning convicted sex offenders from social networking. Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller says there's no point in appealing the ruling because an "updated statute protecting children might well be in place before an appeal could be argued." In January, the court said the 2008 law was too broad and violated freedom of speech.
