Indiana Lawmakers Report Productive General Assembly

Politicians believe it has something to do with the right to work debate not being on the agenda. That's the debate that brought thousands of protesters to the statehouse steps over the past two years.
House Democratic leader Scott Pelath says it's a much-needed break from the bickering, while Republican heavyweights haven't seen exactly eye to eye with new GOP Governor Mike Pence. They have worked around some polarizing issues and they call this year's session both positive and productive.
One issue still on the table, however, is Governor Pence's proposed 10-percent income tax cut.
