The Delaware-Muncie Metropolitan Plan Commission has started drafting the ordinance that would determine where wind turbines can be built.
The proposed ordinance calls for wind turbines to set back at least one-thousand feet from a house and two-thousand from a city or town.
A public meeting on the measure that falls in line with other Indiana counties will be held next month.
